Saigon Phantom enters this Arena of Glory Winter 2026 Group Stage 1 BO5 with a strong historical edge over FPT Polytechnic, having won all recent head-to-head series including multiple 3-1 and 3-2 victories in Spring 2026 group and playoff stages. The veteran SGP roster, featuring consistent performers like Fish in mid and bottom-lane duo Shin and Yiwei, brings extensive experience from prior AOG titles and international events, while newer entrant FPL demonstrated early momentum with a 3-0 opening win against Rex Regum Qeon. Both sides secured victories in round 1, but SGP's deeper playoff pedigree and roster stability position them as the consensus favorite in this early-season matchup, though FPL's aggressive playstyle could create upset opportunities in a best-of-five format.
