This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the MLS for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of MLS for the 2026 season per the rules of MLS (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the MLS; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The bunched probabilities around 36-37% for most MLS clubs reflect the league's competitive parity and absence of a dominant side midway through 2026, with numerous teams separated by just a handful of points in the standings. Preseason expectations centered on Inter Miami and LAFC have given way to broader contention, as clubs like Nashville SC, Vancouver Whitecaps, and FC Cincinnati maintain strong form through balanced attacking and defensive records. Lower implied chances for Inter Miami stem from its status as the clear title favorite, while teams such as New York Red Bulls and CF Montréal sit further back amid inconsistent results and roster challenges. Official injury reports and recent matchday outcomes continue to shape tight conference races without creating decisive separations.
