Inflation has eased to 1.5% year-over-year, comfortably inside the 1-3% target range, while one-year expectations hover near 1.5%. A strong shekel, lower energy prices following the Iran-related ceasefire, and rebounding GDP growth forecasts around 4% for 2026 have reduced immediate pressure for further easing after two consecutive reductions. Traders assign only a 13% chance of a decrease, reflecting limited room for another 25-basis-point move absent softer incoming CPI or labor data, with any hike remaining negligible given stable price pressures and the central bank’s cautious forward guidance.
