Scottie Scheffler holds the largest edge in the FedEx Cup Playoffs winner market due to his commanding regular-season points lead and recent eight-shot victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, where he posted elite strokes-gained totals across tee-to-green metrics. The world No. 1 has delivered consistent top finishes despite limited wins, outpacing the field in scoring average and earnings while entering the BMW Championship with a substantial cushion over Matt Fitzpatrick and others. Rory McIlroy’s strong showing in the current playoff event highlights his upside in the shorter remaining window, yet the format’s starting-stroke advantage at the Tour Championship amplifies Scheffler’s position. A wide field of contenders like Ludvig Åberg and Cameron Young must overcome both the points gap and Scheffler’s historical closing strength to close the probability spread.
