This market will resolve to “Yes” if Ken Martin ceases to be Chair of the Democratic National Committee for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Mr. Martin's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Ken Martin and the Democratic National Committee; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Ken Martin faces mounting internal criticism as DNC chair over the party's financial shortfalls—roughly $18 million in debt versus the RNC's $128 million cash reserves—and reports of workplace tensions, including an alleged staff incident and limited media engagement. Recent DNC summer meetings in August 2026 highlighted these pressures, yet Martin has pushed back defiantly, denying allegations and securing public backing from leaders like Hakeem Jeffries while emphasizing record fundraising and state-level wins. Party members show little appetite for an ouster before the November midterms, with no viable successor emerging and focus remaining on retaining Congress. Any leadership shift would likely require a majority vote of DNC members and is more plausible at the winter meeting in early 2027 if midterm results disappoint. Trader consensus reflects these barriers to near-term removal.
