The 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura campaign remains in its opening weeks, leaving the top goalscorer market wide open as no single forward has established clear separation through consistent scoring. Juninho leads early contenders at 10% implied probability after a hat-trick in Pumas’ 5-1 win over Juárez and three goals overall, while recent transfers such as Armando González and established names like Brian Rodríguez, Gabriel Fernández, Robert Morales, Paulinho, and Juan Brunetta sit in the 5-9.5% range based on prior-season tallies and current team attacking setups. Multiple clubs feature distributed scoring threats, variable minutes, and fixture difficulty that prevent any player from pulling away, keeping trader consensus tightly bunched across the field.

If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
