**Invictus Gaming enters the September 5 LPL Split 3 lower-bracket BO5 against Top Esports with strong momentum after a record-setting 3-0 sweep of ThunderTalk Gaming on August 28.** The series lasted just 68 minutes total, highlighted by aggressive early leads, rapid snowballing across lanes, and decisive teamfight execution that prevented any meaningful TT response. Top Esports arrives after a 2-3 upset loss to LGD on August 29, where they squandered a 2-0 lead in the upper-bracket quarterfinal; JackeyLove’s high-risk positioning in the decider proved costly amid mid-to-late game coordination issues. The matchup carries added weight due to the single-elimination format—loser is eliminated—and longstanding roster connections, including TheShy, Rookie, and JackeyLove’s history as 2018 IG world champions. IG’s recent form emphasizes lane pressure and quick objective conversions, while TES has shown vulnerability in closing out series despite strong individual talent. Head-to-head records remain competitive, with recent regular-season results split. The September 5 series in Shanghai will hinge on which side sustains early advantages through mid-game macro and avoids critical misplays in a high-stakes, must-win environment.

The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.
In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
