The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago White Sox, and Houston Astros currently hold AL division leads and are positioned for first-round byes into the ALDS, while the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox have secured the top two wild-card spots. The Cleveland Guardians lead the race for the final wild-card berth by one game over the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers, with the AL West and Central races remaining within three games. Recent results, including strong stretches by the Yankees and Red Sox plus the Guardians' edge in head-to-head tiebreakers, have shaped current trader consensus around these six clubs reaching the division series. Remaining schedule strength, bullpen depth, and injury recoveries will determine final seeding and wild-card outcomes over the next three weeks.
