The Romanian SuperLiga's 2026-27 campaign features 16 teams split after a 30-match regular season into a top-six play-off and bottom-10 play-out, where points are halved before a single round-robin determines final positions, with the bottom two relegated outright and 13th/14th facing playoff ties. Early results show tight parity across mid-table sides like Dinamo București, Rapid, FCSB, CFR Cluj, and promoted sides such as Corvinul Hunedoara and Sepsi, with roster turnover, new signings, and varying European schedules creating similar projected strengths. This balance, combined with the play-out's volatility and limited separation in recent form or head-to-head trends, keeps implied probabilities clustered near 49 percent for the 12th-place survivor.
