This market will resolve according to the team that finishes as runner-up of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to finish as runner-up of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League per the rules of UEFA Champions League (e.g., they are eliminated before the final, or they win the final), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League season is cancelled, postponed after June 19, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or the final is otherwise not played within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from UEFA Champions League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The UEFA Champions League league phase opens this week with an unusually bunched field for second place, as no team has separated itself after the draw and pre-season preparations. Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, and PSG enter with comparable squad depth, recent European pedigree, and projected points totals in the mid-teens, while Liverpool, Inter, and others sit close behind on form and fixture balance. Bodø/Glimt’s return adds an intriguing variable after strong prior campaigns, but the 36-team Swiss format and eight-match schedule reward consistency over any single standout. Trader pricing reflects this parity, with early results, injuries, and rotation decisions poised to shift positioning rapidly before the knockout threshold clarifies.
