The UEFA Europa League league phase begins September 16 with 36 clubs each playing eight matches, creating a wide-open race for most goals where no single side holds a decisive edge. Juventus, AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, and Marseille enter with the strongest attacking depth and European pedigree, yet their fixtures mix tough tests against sides like Real Sociedad, Olympiacos, and Celtic with more favorable home ties. Recent form from domestic leagues shows high-scoring potential across the field, while promoted English clubs such as Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Sunderland introduce variables in defensive organization. The even distribution of talent, balanced schedules, and absence of early results keep implied probabilities tightly clustered as traders weigh squad rotations and stylistic matchups over the full eight-game slate.
