LYON enters the 2026 LCS Summer Split as the clear frontrunner to claim the shortest regular-season game, backed by an undefeated early record, multiple former MVPs on the roster, and a pattern of rapid early leads that translate into efficient closes. The Mexican organization’s strong form across Lock-In and Spring play has carried into Summer, where their map wins frequently end well under 30 minutes against weaker opposition. Trader consensus reflects this dominance through elevated implied probability for LYON while assigning single-digit chances to teams such as Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Dignitas, whose recent series have featured longer average durations. Schedule matchups and patch dynamics favoring aggressive play further support the current positioning ahead of the split’s conclusion in September.

"Shortest" is determined by the in-game duration of each completed game, as recorded on the official post-game result and logged by the resolution source (the clock running from game start to the destruction of the losing team's Nexus / game end).
All completed regular-season games count. Seeding games (matches played solely to determine seeding or draw position) and playoff games do not count toward this market.
A game that is remade or restarted before completion does not count; only a completed, officially recorded game counts.
This market resolves to the team that won the game with the lowest recorded in-game duration across the qualifying games. If the two shortest games share the identical recorded duration, the market resolves to the team that won the game that occurred earlier in the schedule.
If the 2026 LCS Summer Split regular season is cancelled, or is not completed such that final game-duration data is not available by September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source for this market will be Leaguepedia (https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/LCS/2026_Season/Summer_Season); a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
