**5star enters the ESL Challenger League Asia Cup #1 Playoffs BO3 against Vitalem Aerem as the stronger side based on recent form and regional standings.** The Mongolian squad, ranked around #145 globally with a stable core of NEUZ, rate, clouden, ariucle, and hoolig4n under coach shinobi, reached 1-2nd at the GLuck Moscow Cyber Games 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier (Aug 22-26), posting wins over Rare Atom and Kaleido before advancing. Vitalem Aerem, a Chinese team ranked #211 featuring lan, B1NGO, Roninbaby, BZA, and rain, placed 5-6th in the same event after a 2-0 win over Chinggis Warriors but losses to Rare Atom and The Huns. In the ongoing ESL season, both sides show mixed results in recent BO3s, with 5star also securing a 2-0 over Haunted House; the matchup pits 5star's higher implied probability from trader consensus against Vitalem Aerem's potential for map-specific upsets in a best-of-three format.
