Arsenal hold a narrow lead in the 2026-27 Premier League runner-up market at 26.5% implied probability, buoyed by defending-champion status, managerial continuity under Mikel Arteta, and a recent 3-0 Community Shield win over Manchester City. Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City sit tightly clustered behind because all three enter the campaign under new managers amid substantial roster turnover and major summer spending, including record deals for players like Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson. Chelsea’s European-free schedule and Liverpool’s squad-depth questions create comparable upside potential, while Manchester United’s resurgence adds further parity. These overlapping uncertainties among the chasing pack sustain the tight bunching between 20% and 26.5%.
