The Süper Lig's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects a wide-open battle for second place behind the expected title contenders, driven by substantial summer reinforcements across multiple clubs and an unusually deep field. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe enter with the strongest projected squads after major additions, yet early matchday results have shown vulnerability through draws and surprise losses that compress the gap to chasing sides. Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, and several others like Başakşehir and rising promoted teams benefit from solid pre-season momentum, favorable home records, and squad depth that historically allows mid-pack clubs to accumulate points in a 38-match campaign featuring intense derbies and European distractions for the frontrunners. With no dominant favorite emerging after the opening fixtures and historical patterns showing frequent shifts in the upper table, trader consensus prices the outcome as highly contested among a broad group of plausible challengers.
