The Swiss Super League's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects a tightly bunched field because early-season results have kept several clubs on similar trajectories after the opening rounds. Lugano sits atop the table with a perfect start, while Basel, Young Boys, St. Gallen, and Sion have all posted strong points hauls and positive goal differences that sustain their implied probabilities near 49%. Squad turnover, including notable incoming transfers and a few key injuries at clubs like Young Boys, has not yet produced clear separation. Historical league parity, short turnarounds, and the absence of a dominant side mean form swings or fixture difficulty can quickly reorder the standings, leaving traders pricing most contenders within a narrow band.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Swiss Super League for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Swiss Super League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Swiss Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
