Pre-season results have shown mixed form across these sides, with notable heavy defeats for Augsburg and Schalke highlighting defensive vulnerabilities while Bremen continues adjustments under Daniel Thioune. The return of promoted sides including Schalke, Elversberg, and Paderborn injects fresh uncertainty into the survival scrap, alongside familiar battlers like Mainz, Union Berlin, and Gladbach whose recent campaigns ended near the drop zone. Squad turnover, limited depth at several clubs, and the absence of dominant favorites at this level keep outcomes highly variable through the long campaign, sustaining tight trader pricing across the field.
