Ashley Moody holds a clear lead in trader consensus for winning Miami-Dade County in the November 3, 2026 special U.S. Senate election, reflecting her strong Republican primary performance, substantial fundraising edge, and alignment with statewide GOP infrastructure. Angie Nixon’s upset Democratic primary victory over Alex Vindman has energized progressive turnout efforts around housing costs and wages, yet Miami-Dade’s diverse electorate has shown mixed partisan trends in recent cycles. The race remains the sole contest between the two nominees, with Moody positioned as the appointee completing Marco Rubio’s term and Nixon emphasizing economic pressures that resonate locally. Upcoming general election dynamics, including turnout patterns in this battleground county, will determine the final county-level outcome.
