Steph Curry remains under contract with the Golden State Warriors for the 2026-27 season at roughly $62.6 million, with eligibility for a two-year extension up to $136.7 million beginning August 29. Recent reporting highlights mutual interest in a deal that would keep the 38-year-old point guard in San Francisco, including optimistic comments from Warriors executives about him finishing his career there and consistent statements from Curry prioritizing stability. Trader consensus at 95.3% for the Warriors reflects this continuity and the absence of credible trade or free-agency signals. Scenarios that could shift odds include Curry declining an extension to test unrestricted free agency in 2027, roster stagnation prompting a desire for a stronger contender, or unforeseen injury altering his timeline.
