This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 American Conference Football Championship, determining the champion of the American Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 5, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the American Conference (https://theamerican.org); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Several teams enter the 2026 American Athletic Conference season with comparable roster depth, returning production, and coaching continuity, leaving no clear frontrunner. Navy, UTSA, and Memphis top preseason media polls and futures markets due to strong offensive lines, experienced quarterbacks, and defensive upgrades, while Tulane, East Carolina, and Army remain close behind on the strength of recent recruiting and schematic fit. Win-total projections cluster tightly around seven to eight victories for the top group, and non-conference schedules plus the expanded playoff path add uncertainty. This balance of talent and situational factors sustains the tight implied probabilities reflected in trader positioning.
