Western Kentucky and Jacksonville State remain perennial contenders thanks to experienced coaching staffs, returning production, and consistent recent form that has kept them in title conversations. Kennesaw State’s back-to-back contention after its 2025 championship run and Delaware’s roster stability further compress the field, while depth from programs like FIU and Middle Tennessee creates realistic upset paths. Trader pricing reflects this parity, with no team holding a decisive edge entering the opening weeks.
