This market will resolve "Yes" if the listed team is ranked #1 on the AP top 25 College Football Poll during any gameweek of the 2026-27 season, preseason polls do not count. Otherwise this market will resolve "No". This market does not count any other ranking sources such as other power rankings or CFP rankings. The primary resolution source for this market will be the AP News Top 25 College Football Poll (https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Ohio State enters the 2026 season as the clear preseason favorite to open at No. 1 in the AP Poll, receiving 40 of 69 first-place votes in the latest media ballot released August 17. The Buckeyes’ position stems from a deep roster returning after a 12-2 campaign that included a College Football Playoff quarterfinal appearance, combined with elite recruiting and continuity in the Big Ten.
