The 2026 Categoría Primera B season features pronounced parity across its 16-team field, with multiple clubs holding comparable records and resources early in the Clausura following Inter de Palmira’s Apertura title. Recently relegated sides such as Envigado, Unión Magdalena, Patriotas, Deportes Quindío, and Real Cartagena bring Primera A experience, squad depth, and coaching stability that keep them competitive in the overall reclasificación table used for the second promotion repechaje. Recent Clausura results show tight contests, with Leones, Real Cartagena, and Independiente Valle del Cauca among early pace-setters while established mid-table sides like Bogotá, Barranquilla, and Tigres remain within striking distance. This balanced distribution of form, home/away splits, and fixture difficulty sustains even implied probabilities across the field.
