In the 2026 Liga FUTVE season, the race for runner-up remains tightly bunched because the Apertura aggregate table shows several clubs separated by just a handful of points after 13 rounds, while the ongoing Clausura features fluctuating form across the field. Deportivo La Guaira leads recent Clausura results with strong attacking output, yet Metropolitanos, Deportivo Táchira, and Academia Puerto Cabello sit within striking distance on points and goal difference. Caracas FC and Rayo Zuliano carry historical pedigree and roster depth that keep their implied probabilities competitive, but inconsistent results, frequent draws, and the two-tournament format with potential playoff qualification create multiple paths to second place. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no side establishing a decisive edge heading into the decisive second half of the Clausura.
