Aryna Sabalenka holds the highest implied probability as the two-time defending US Open champion and current WTA No. 1, bolstered by her dominant 2026 hard-court results and recent finals appearances. However, the field remains tightly contested because Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and Mirra Andreeva occupy nearby rankings with strong recent form, while Jessica Pegula, Amanda Anisimova, and others sit just behind in the top 10. Elena Rybakina’s recent Achilles injury has introduced uncertainty for a key contender, and the absence of a clear dominant force beyond Sabalenka—combined with deep WTA depth, varying hard-court preferences, and potential late draw or fitness shifts—keeps probabilities clustered among multiple realistic title threats.
