West Coast Eagles' dismal 2026 campaign, marked by a bottom-of-the-ladder position, extended losing streak, and depleted roster, underpins Gold Coast Suns' 76% implied probability. Multiple Eagles face season-ending issues including knee and quad injuries to key players like Reuben Ginbey, alongside ongoing absences in the midfield and forward line that have eroded depth and scoring power. In contrast, the Suns sit higher on the ladder with stronger recent results and greater consistency despite their own injury concerns such as rib and foot issues for Sam Collins and Christian Petracca. Historical matchups further favor Gold Coast, amplifying trader consensus around the Suns' clear edge in form, structure, and availability heading into the contest.
