The tightly bunched probabilities across Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren and several midfield squads for the Italian Grand Prix constructor fastest lap reflect Monza’s high-speed layout and the unpredictable nature of 2026 power-unit and aerodynamic regulations. Recent Dutch Grand Prix form showed Ferrari with strong long-run pace on soft tires, while Mercedes continues to lead the constructors’ standings through consistent race trim from Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Low tire degradation at Monza, combined with common late-race soft-tire strategies and clean-air opportunities, allows multiple teams to target the fastest lap regardless of qualifying position. Ongoing development gains from McLaren and Ferrari upgrades keep the field competitive, with no single constructor holding a decisive edge on power-sensitive circuits.
