This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team achieves promotion from the J2 League to the Japan J. League for the 2027-28 season at the conclusion of the current league season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official promotion is defined as a team clinching a place in the Japan J. League for the 2027-28 season through their final standing in the J2 League, via playoff victory, or by any other official league decision recognized by the J2 League and Japan J. League. If the 2026-27 J2 League season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for promotion within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from the J2 League and Japan J. League. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**RB Omiya Ardija’s perfect 3-0 start, including a 4-1 road win over Consadole Sapporo, has given the club an early edge in the 2026–27 Meiji Yasuda J2 League promotion race.** Recently relegated sides Shonan Bellmare, Yokohama FC, and Albirex Niigata sit among the top eight after three rounds, leveraging greater squad depth and J1 experience to challenge for the two automatic promotion spots and the 3rd–6th playoff places. Kataller Toyama and Tochigi City have also posted strong results, with Toyama posting back-to-back 4-0 victories. The 38-match schedule, which includes a winter break before the May finale and promotion playoffs, leaves ample time for form shifts, injury impacts, and fixture congestion to reshape the table. Traders are monitoring early goal-difference trends and home/away splits among the ex-J1 clubs as key indicators.
