Aaron Ford secured the Democratic nomination in June primaries with strong Clark County support, positioning him as the trader consensus leader at 82% for winning the county in the November 3 general election against incumbent Republican Joe Lombardo. Clark County, home to the majority of Nevada’s voters and a Democratic-leaning urban base centered on Las Vegas, drives this market positioning. Lombardo, a former Clark County sheriff, campaigns on his record of job creation, private investment, and regulatory reductions, while Ford focuses on housing affordability, medical debt relief, and economic pressures tied to broader policy debates. Statewide polling shows a close contest overall, but the county’s electorate sustains Ford’s elevated probability in trader assessments ahead of early voting.
