This market will resolve to the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring player overall under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 1, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring player in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not one of the players listed in this market, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 1 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).The market for the 2026-27 NFL Week 1 PPR fantasy points leader remains tightly bunched because no single player enters the season with a decisive edge in projected volume or matchup favorability. Dozens of quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers sit near even implied probability, reflecting broad trader consensus on the volatility of opening-week usage, defensive schemes, and game scripts that can swing receptions and yardage totals dramatically. Factors such as backfield committees, target shares in pass-heavy offenses, and home/away splits further dilute any standout candidate, while injury reports and practice participation remain fluid this close to kickoff. Historical patterns show Week 1 leaders often emerge from unexpected high-volume performances rather than preseason expectations.
