This market will resolve to the running back that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring RB under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 1, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring RB in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 1 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 47-50% for numerous running backs reflects the balanced Week 1 PPR outlook across consensus projections, with Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Christian McCaffrey projected for the highest outputs near 19-21 points amid strong receiving roles and favorable early-season matchups. Multiple backs like Jonathan Taylor, De'Von Achane, Chase Brown, and Omarion Hampton sit in a narrow band of 15-18 projected points due to high-volume workloads, pass-catching upside in PPR formats, and manageable defensive opponents. Recent training camp developments, including managed workloads for veterans like McCaffrey and recoveries from minor shoulder or ankle issues for players such as Achane and various rookies, have kept depth charts stable without major disruptions. This parity in form, usage, and situational edges sustains the competitive field heading into opening weekend.
