Recent price action for the Pikachu ex Special Illustration Rare (#276/217 "Treekachu") from the Ascended Heroes set shows the raw market value hovering near the $1,059.87 threshold after a roughly 9% decline over the past month, with recent tracked figures between $1,050 and $1,157. Trader balance at 52% for Over reflects this narrow band amid softening demand as collector attention shifted toward newer Scarlet & Violet expansions in late July and August. The upcoming Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration set, releasing worldwide September 16 with multiple new Pikachu ex variants and promos, stands as the key near-term catalyst that could either sustain or further pressure values through supply rotation and hype diversion. Broader TCG market softness, evidenced by bearish leanings across similar Polymarket contracts, adds to the uncertainty ahead of the September 30 resolution.
