Both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings enter the 2026 NFL season with significant roster turnover and quarterback questions that have shaped trader views on their two head-to-head matchups. The Vikings face a fluid QB competition between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy amid injuries and integration challenges alongside Justin Jefferson, while the Bears deal with key departures such as wide receiver D.J. Moore and center Drew Dalman alongside offensive line adjustments. Preseason roster moves and injury reports for both sides have added volatility, with neither team viewed as a clear favorite in the NFC North. This balanced uncertainty, combined with the split-series structure of the regular-season schedule, drives the elevated implied probability around a tied outcome.
