The Buffalo Bills enter the 2026 season as clear frontrunners in the AFC East following a 12-5 campaign and major coaching transition to Joe Brady, anchored by franchise quarterback Josh Allen and projected for 10-12 wins amid strong roster depth. The Jets, coming off a 3-14 mark, show modest progress under Aaron Glenn with additions like Minkah Fitzpatrick and rookie edge rusher David Bailey plus Geno Smith at quarterback, yet remain projected near .500 with limited contention upside. Their two scheduled meetings—one in mid-November and the finale in Week 18—favor Buffalo heavily on paper due to historical divisional dominance, home/away splits, and overall talent gaps, driving the 63% implied probability for a Bills series sweep while leaving room for a split and explaining the low odds on a Jets win.
