This report may be accessed by selecting "End of Day Report" under the "Reports" tab of the product page at https://www.ice.com/products/194/US-Dollar-Index-Futures.US Dollar Index (DXY) trades near 99 amid expectations for the Federal Reserve to hold its 3.50–3.75% target range while monitoring elevated inflation. Persistent price pressures from energy and tariff effects have kept core PCE above 3%, supporting higher-for-longer rate pricing versus other major central banks and bolstering real yields. Recent nonfarm payrolls showed softening job gains, tempering immediate hike odds ahead of the September 11 CPI release and September 16 FOMC meeting. Treasury yields and relative growth differentials remain key swing factors, with DXY sensitive to any hotter-than-expected August inflation print that could reinforce hawkish repricing.
