The scheduled October 27, 2026, vote for the 26th Knesset is advancing on track after the 25th Knesset completed its full four-year term and dissolved in mid-July. Party primaries, candidate list finalization ahead of the early September deadline, and ongoing polling reflect standard pre-election processes with no legislative moves or coalition pressures to advance or delay the date. This marks the first non-early election since 1988, aligning with legal timelines set by court rulings years earlier. Trader consensus at 90% for the election occurring as scheduled stems from the absence of recent procedural disruptions or formal postponement proposals in the current Knesset session.
