Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” dominates trader consensus at an 88% implied probability for the #2 U.S. Spotify song the week of August 28 because it has held steady at #2 on daily charts with over 1.1 million streams, fueled by sustained TikTok virality and a radio push that began in April. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” currently leads daily tallies, positioning “Earrings” as the clear runner-up while newer or lower-volume tracks from Olivia Rodrigo, Tame Impala, Steve Lacy, and Ariana Grande sit well behind in streaming metrics. Recent chart data through August 21 shows no major shifts that would displace the song, though final weekly aggregates could tighten if competing releases surge in the closing days.
