This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season per the rules of Peru Liga 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Peru Liga 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple teams in the 2026 Liga 1 remain tightly grouped in the race for runner-up behind Alianza Lima, with comparable points totals, goal differences, and records after the Apertura and early Clausura phases. Deportivo Garcilaso, Los Chankas, Cienciano, Universitario, FBC Melgar, and Sporting Cristal sit within a narrow band in the table, supported by solid recent form, home results, and head-to-head outcomes that have prevented any club from pulling clear. The two-phase format plus playoffs adds uncertainty around remaining fixtures, squad rotations, and potential momentum swings for sides like UTC Cajamarca or Atlético Grau. Trader pricing reflects this parity and the possibility of late surges or fades based on away results and direct confrontations.
