The 2026–27 NB I title race remains wide open after the opening weeks, with early results reflecting a balanced league where multiple clubs have posted strong starts. Defending champions Győri ETO have maintained an unbeaten record but collected several draws, while Puskás Akadémia leads the table on points per game and Újpest, MTK Budapest, and Vasas sit close behind through consistent attacking output and defensive organization. Ferencvárosi TC, historically dominant, have played fewer fixtures amid European commitments and sit mid-table, contributing to market pricing that treats nearly a dozen sides as realistic contenders. This even distribution of results and schedule congestion has kept implied probabilities tightly grouped, underscoring the absence of a clear frontrunner through the first month.
