Recent broad cooling in the Pokémon TCG secondary market has tilted trader sentiment slightly toward “Down” for the Bulbasaur card tracked on Collectr, with ungraded prices easing from summer peaks into the $30–$40 range. Softer collector demand, plentiful supply from recent sets, and the usual August slowdown in spending have weighed on values across comparable starter promos and modern singles. The 52.5% probability reflects this tug-of-war: while broader declines set the baseline, the card’s prior visibility from the hidden-Pikachu promo and any late-month sales spikes could still support a modest rebound before the August 31 snapshot. With only days left, fresh price data or an unexpected surge in platform trading volume would be the clearest catalysts capable of breaking the near-even split.
