Mega Dragonite ex from the Ascended Heroes set has seen sustained downward pressure on ungraded prices since its January 2026 launch, with recent 30-day declines of 7% or more across variants amid increased supply from opened Elite Trainer Boxes and booster product. Traders see little near-term catalyst to reverse the post-hype correction, as secondary market liquidity remains high and broader Pokémon TCG singles continue softening after the set’s initial chase-card surge. The 90.5% market-implied probability for a drop by August 31 reflects this steady influx of copies outpacing collector demand. An unexpected late-month grading wave or viral social media spike could briefly lift values, but historical patterns for large modern expansions suggest further softening is the more probable path.
