**The Bulbasaur (Mega Evolution Promos, Promo 037) ungraded price market on Polymarket sits in a near-even contest, with traders assigning a slim 53% implied probability to a close below $28.95 on August 31.** This narrow lean reflects the broader cooling in the Pokémon TCG secondary market after the summer hype cycle peaked in July. Attention has rotated toward newer sets, leaving many promos—including this March 2026 First Partner Illustration Collection card—facing softer demand and typical post-release price stabilization or modest pullbacks. Collectr data and recent sales trends show limited upward catalysts in the final week of August, with no major announcements, restocks, or collector events on the immediate horizon to drive fresh buying. At the same time, the card's relative scarcity as a promo and steady baseline collector interest prevent a stronger bearish consensus, keeping the outcome tightly balanced. Traders are watching short-term Collectr updates and any late-month sales volume for decisive signals before the lock. A clear uptick in listings or broader pop-culture collectibles rebound could quickly shift momentum toward “Up,” while continued rotation to fresh product would likely reinforce the current slight edge for “Down.”
