**Trader consensus currently favors a price decline for the 2021 Pokémon TCG Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection by August 31, with “Down” implied at 70%.** The dominant driver is anticipation for the upcoming Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Ultra Premium Collections, set for November 6 release at $179.99 MSRP. Presales for the new Day and Night variants are already trading well above retail, prompting collectors and investors to reallocate capital toward the fresh anniversary product featuring exclusive promos and Classic Collection packs. This shift has redirected sealed-product momentum away from the older Celebrations UPC, which has been trading in a relatively narrow $1,150–$1,275 range on secondary platforms with recent sales near $1,219–$1,250 and no offsetting positive catalysts in the past week. Historical patterns in Pokémon sealed product show that major new releases often create short-term headwinds for prior anniversary sets as attention and buying power migrate. With the August 31 resolution date approaching and November hype building, traders see limited upside catalysts for the legacy item before month-end.
