This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of South Carolina, including the Election Commission and the government of York County.Ralph Norman holds a commanding position in York County for the August 25 South Carolina Republican Senate special primary runoff due to his strong showing in the August 11 first-round primary across Upstate counties. Norman drew heavy support from conservative voters aligned with his House Freedom Caucus record, while Darline Graham Nordone, the appointed incumbent with statewide name recognition and Trump backing, performed better in the Midlands but trailed significantly in northern areas including York. Recent debate exchanges and endorsements have not altered these geographic patterns. Low-probability shifts could occur from unusually high turnout favoring Graham's base or last-minute campaign developments within the two-day window, though historical voting trends in the county favor the established frontrunner.
