Trader consensus on the Squirtle (Mega Evolution Promos #039) ungraded price closing above $28.23 by August 31 reflects a tight balance between steady collector demand for classic Pokémon promo cards and typical late-summer softening in raw TCG values. Polymarket’s mid-August launch of Pokémon card markets spotlighted this specific Collectr-tracked asset, injecting fresh liquidity and highlighting how quickly ungraded prices can shift on modest secondary-market volume or social buzz. With resolution just over a week away, recent 30-day trends show the card hovering near or above the strike after earlier 2026 spikes tied to broader Pokémon enthusiasm, yet broader TCG volatility and quiet trading periods favor a slight Down tilt in some sessions. Key upcoming catalysts include any final-week sales data or set announcements that could tip momentum toward “Up” before the August 31 cutoff.
