Multiple elite edge rushers enter the 2026 season with strong recent production and favorable situations that keep the sacks leader market wide open. Myles Garrett's record 23-sack 2025 campaign with the Browns and subsequent trade to the Rams positions him as the consensus favorite, though a deeper defensive line and potentially fewer pass-rush opportunities could moderate his output. Aidan Hutchinson, Will Anderson Jr., Danielle Hunter, and Trey Hendrickson all posted double-digit sacks last year while healthy, with supporting casts and defensive schemes that support continued pressure volume. Depth across the league, including veterans like T.J. Watt and Maxx Crosby plus rising talents, combined with variables such as injuries, snap counts, and team defensive philosophies, sustains the tight distribution of implied probabilities reflected in current trader consensus.
