Both teams enter the 2026 season with new offensive coordinators and significant roster turnover, creating schematic uncertainty that favors a split in their two NFC East meetings. Philadelphia opens at home in Week 1 against Washington before hosting the return matchup in Week 8, with both sides adjusting to fresh play-calling and receiver groups after the Eagles' trade of A.J. Brown and additions like Dontayvion Wicks. Recent head-to-head results show Washington capable of upsets, as evidenced by their 2025 regular-season win over Philadelphia, while the Commanders' tougher projected schedule and Eagles' defensive strength keep a full sweep unlikely for either side. Trader pricing reflects this balance, with the wisdom of crowds assigning the highest implied probability to the series tie amid typical divisional variance and limited preseason clarity on final lineups.
