Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s freshman Apple TV+ drama starring Rhea Seehorn, earned a record 18 Emmy nominations for a debut series, including Drama Series, lead actress, multiple supporting bids, and directing. This strong showing positions the show for solid but not dominant wins, as traders price 2-3 victories highest due to competition from established leaders like The Pitt (25 nominations) and Hacks in key categories. Historical patterns for new Gilligan projects and recent precursor signals suggest momentum in supporting acting or technical fields, while major series and lead categories remain contested. The July 2026 nomination announcements reinforced its critical reception without shifting frontrunner status, with the September ceremony as the key upcoming catalyst.
