Cilliers Brink leads the Tshwane mayoral market at 67% as the Democratic Alliance’s confirmed candidate for the November 2026 local government elections, backed by recent SRF and party polling showing the DA near or above 43% support and positioned for a possible outright majority in the metro. Brink’s prior term as mayor through 2024 provides continuity in the party’s campaign on service delivery and governance. Nasiphi Moya, the current mayor installed in October 2024 via ActionSA with ANC and EFF backing, sits at 15.5% following her formal nomination by ActionSA in May 2026, reflecting that party’s narrower base. Lower-priced contenders from the ANC, BOSA, and other parties align with their respective finalist lists and limited polling traction ahead of the vote. Trader consensus prices in the DA’s structural advantages in metro contests over fragmented opposition options.
