The Denver Broncos enter 2026 as defending AFC West champions with continuity under Sean Payton and a proven defense, though Bo Nix’s recovery from his prior ankle injury and a tougher schedule point to expected regression from their 14-win 2025 campaign. The Las Vegas Raiders, meanwhile, are in full rebuild mode behind rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza and new head coach Klint Kubiak, projecting for far fewer victories overall. Their two regular-season meetings—one at Empower Field and one at Allegiant Stadium—feature a substantial talent gap that supports Broncos favoritism for the series, yet the divisional setting, home-field variance, and typical NFL unpredictability sustain a near-even implied probability between Denver claiming both wins and a split. Raiders sweeps remain remote given roster disparities.
